Imago Mortis was born in 1994. Black metal is the artistic and spiritual form through which the congregation explores the obscure sides of existence and the arcane forces that govern it. The band expresses its own peculiarities, both musical and conceptual, emphasized through the use of Italian and archaic languages, such as the seventeenth-century vernacular, Latin and the Bergamo dialect.
